The WorkShop in Gisborne was born when Amy Moore, after winning The Block NZ (Season 7), reimagined an old plumbing workshop into a vibrant retail & café destination. What began as a studio has grown into a curated space of wonder, where every item tells a story. From striking Moroccan rugs and woven lampshades to vintage furniture, ceramics, and locally made homewares, the shop blends global style with Tairāwhiti heart. Many pieces are ethically sourced from artisans, supporting fair trade and meaningful craftsmanship. The café incorporated within the space invites you to linger, enjoy a coffee, browse shelves of design finds, and soak in the relaxed, creative atmosphere that has become a landmark in Gisborne’s design scene.
